Cristina is a Registered Nurse and Specialised Cosmetic Injector with over 16 years experience. Since gaining her Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Sydney, Cristina has worked in a variety of nursing fields, including; hospital surgical wards, emergency medical centres, clinical trials and day surgeries. She developed her passion for helping people look and feel their best whilst assisting Doctors with specialised skin procedures and wound care management. From there she joined a reputable cosmetic clinic in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, where she gained invaluable experience as a specialised cosmetic injector. Cristina has been a member of the Face Today family since opening five years ago, giving her the opportunity to watch our clinic grow into one of Australia’s leading anti-ageing specialist clinics. She is now a trainer and senior cosmetic injector at Face Today, where Cristina has established herself as a reputable injector with a skill for gaining ‘Natural Results,’ as she says;

My treatments are all about enhancing client’s features and bringing out their beautiful assets so that they can feel their best at any age. ”  An expert in all areas of cosmetic injecting and treatment of skin conditions, Cristina was one of the first cosmetic injectors in Australia to perform the PRP Regenerative Medicine. She also has vast experience in treatments including; Muscle Relaxants, Fillers, Portrait Regeneration, Liquid and Slow Facelifts, Pelleve Skin Tightening, Medical Microdermabrasion, Peels and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), and prides herself in providing exceptional client service. Cristina is also fluent in Spanish if this is your preferred language. She is available for design consultations and treatments on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and some Saturdays.

Kerie Jackson

Registered Nurse | Cosmetic Injector | Practice Manager Cairns

Kerie is the eldest of the four sisters working at Face Today Medi-Clinic Cairns. She has been a Registered General Nurse for 32 years and a qualified Beauty Therapist for 30 years.
"I enjoy performing all the injectable treatments available at Face Today Medi-Clinic (I am known as a perfectionist!), but my favourite treatment is PDT (photodynamic Therapy) with our Qantum IPL, used to treat Solar keratoses, Acne and generally oily skin, Rosacea, Seborrheic Keratoses, Sebaceous Gland Hyperplasia, and fine lines, along with other conditions of the skin. It is so satisfying to assist people in making their skin healthier, more even toned and youthful.

Kerie’s passion is balancing body and mind by the combined use of good nutrition, antioxidants, herbal supplements, meditation and also the application of medical grade skin products and treatments. Positive thinking, and a healthy self esteem can be enhanced by cosmetic injectables and skin treatments. Genetics, environmental toxins, stress and diet do much to determine how we as individuals, age. We need to apply a holistic approach to treat and slow down the effects of our own ageing process. “It brings me joy when I can help a client look and feel better, both with their health, self esteem and with their physical appearance. Kathryn Barley
Registered Nurse | Cosmetic Injector

Kathryn is a Registered Nurse with over 25 years experience with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Management. Kathryn has had vast experience in many aspects of nursing over the years, including ten years at a small country hospital, duties including everything from suturing wounds to delivering babies (often on the same shift). She has also been interested in keeping up with the changing trends in nursing and maintaining current skills and evidence based practices. Consequently the opportunity to train as a nurse injector and work at Face Today in Cairns in the anti-aging field was an exciting prospect. Kathryn states “I have always tried to maintain a holistic approach when nursing and was attracted to the philosophy of Face Today, by addressing not only the client’s concern about their face, but also educating them on cause and prevention, and walking with them on their journey to an overall improvement in their appearance and wellbeing.”

Denise Scaini

Registered Nurse | Cosmetic Injector

Denise is a Registered Nurse who has worked in the Health Industry for over 30 years. Since graduating she has worked in a variety of medical specialties including general medicine, intensive care, aged care, and as the Practice Manager in a GP Clinic.  Currently, Denise shares her working hours between the Emergency Department of Cairns Base Hospital and Face Today where she works as a Cosmetic Injector. Denise has worked part-time at Face Today since 2007. Denise is a skilled professional Cosmetic Injector who offers her clients education, advice and a very personalized service so that the best possible results are achieved through discussion and forward planning. Denise’s greatest joy is seeing her clients excited about their results and seeing a new confidence and energy develop in them as a consequence.

Wendy Dorrington
Registered Nurse | Cosmetic Injector

Wendy Dorrington (nee Strickland) is a Registered Clinical Nurse Consultant and Midwife with over thirty five years experience in the Nursing Industry, having worked in various hospitals in Queensland and Tasmania.  After recently traveling to Sydney’s Northern Suburbs, she loved the area so much she decided to stay and join the beautiful girls at Face Today in Chatswood.

Wendy has worked in one of Australia’s largest Cosmetic Spas for the last 11 years with some of the leading Cosmetic Surgeons and Physicians.  Her specialised knowledge of the latest range of skin treatments available and her skill with Injectable Shaping and Beauty has made her a leader in the Cosmetic Medical industry.  At the request of many Clinics and Companies, Wendy has traveled around Australia and overseas, teaching and demonstrating her skills and knowledge.

Wendy has a passion to take her clients on a joyous journey with an aim to look and feel great with subtle treatments and skin care advice.  Her expert and confidential personalised plan can dramatically turn back the clock and help men and women face their daily lives with confidence and renewed motivation.  

Wendy says that she loves to see the transformation as clients understand that elegance  is being yourself and loving the way you look and feel so that heads turn as you pass.  In our lives there is not enough importance placed on taking time and attention to focus on us giving to ourselves, as this in turn inspires us to focus on giving to others.

Caz Young
Registered Nurse | Cosmetic Injector

Caz has been at the forefront of non surgical cosmetics since 2002. As a former clinical trainer she has a wealth of experience in injecting, non- ablative therapies and medical grade skin care. Caz has managed specialist clinics across the country, responsible for training nurses and therapists with an ever-evolving range of cosmetic techniques and skin procedures. Caz believes the treatment process is a journey and is dedicated to achieving a natural look to suit each individual lifestyle – as no two people are the same. Her caring nature and artistic abilities allow her to fulfill client’s desires.

Her areas of expertise include muscle relaxants, fillers, skin needling, Portrait Regeneration, Regen PRP, PDT and medical grade skincare treatments and programs. Caz graduated from the University of Technology Sydney in 2001 with a Bachelor of Nursing and continues her studies by attending conferences and seminars.  She is an accredited laser safety officer. Caz is available for appointments every Wednesday in Chatswood and every Thursday and Friday in our Bondi Junction clinic.

Kirsten Twine

Kirsten Twine is a registered nurse with over 9 years health care experience. After training at Sydney Adventist Hospital she has gained experience in many areas of health care including medical screening, pain management and acute oncology. Kirsten came to cosmetic injecting and skin treatments under the guidance of a plastic surgeon and worked in Newcastle and the Central Coast before joining the team at Face Today. Kirsten specializes in skin analysis, tightening and rejuvenation, muscle relaxants, volume replenishment, feature enhancement, body and cellulite treatments, and liquid face lifts. Kirsten believes in individually selecting and combining treatments to achieve the results you really want. If you are looking for a subtle enhancement, a stunning feature or a complete facial or body overhaul you will feel comfortable and extremely confident with Kirsten's design consult and plan.

Linda Carnovale
Registered Nurse | Cosmetic Injector

Linda has over 2 years experience in the field of Cosmetic Medicine coupled with over 20 years experience in Intensive Care Nursing.  Due to her Intensive Care experience she has developed a meticulous and competent approach to her work, together with always maintaining safety and the individual needs of every patient that she treats.

She has trained extensively with the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine, both in Melbourne and San Diego and has attended numerous training programs and Conferences in Australia, together with the ongoing extensive training at Face Today.

Linda is a busy mother of 3 children, and has a wonderful understanding and empathy towards busy multi -tasking  women and men that are influenced by the effects of stress and fatigue, together with environmental factors and inadequate nutrition created from our busy lifestyles.  These factors combined, place an enormous strain on our bodies and hence facilitate the ageing process and sometimes weight gain in all the wrong places.  Therefore, Linda takes delight in assisting her patients by turning back time and reversing the ageing process through the combination of the modalities offered at our fabulous clinic, together with promoting anti ageing treatments from a cellular level combined with a healthy lifestyle.
