Cristina Matuszewicz
Registered Nurse | Cosmetic Injector

Cristina Matuszewicz is a Registered Nurse with 14 years experience. She completed her degree at the University of Sydney and has gained experience in a range of nursing fields including medical/surgical nursing at Nepean Hospital and clinical trials at Prince of Wales Hospital.

Cristina has worked at a busy medical centre in which she undertook and assisted Doctors with skin procedures. This is where she specialized in skin and wound care management. Cristina joined Face Today Medi-Clinic early last year having previously worked at a reputable cosmetic clinic in the Eastern suburbs for over 2 years.

Her intense passion for anti-ageing and rejuvenation has led her to become a Cosmetic Injector specializing in muscle relaxants, dermal fillers and lip enhancement.

She also has expertise and knowledge with the latest in skin treatments including Portrait Regeneration, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and medical grade skin peels. Cristina also enjoys the ongoing educational training on new technology, procedures and specialised products.

Tracy Weekley
Registered Nurse | Cosmetic Injector | Beauty Therapist

Tracy Weekley is a Registered Nurse who undertook her Bachelor of Nursing Degree at Sydney University. Tracy was named on the Dean’s merit list in 2001 for outstanding academic and clinical results. She also holds the internationally recognised CIDESCO Diploma in Beauty Therapy completed in Mayfair, London. Tracy has over 23 years of experience in the field of beauty and since 1992, cosmetic medicine. She has written advice on cosmetic surgery for the Australian Women’s Weekly and also appeared on Kerri Anne Kennerley to speak about skin care. Tracy has nursing experience in intensive care, oncology, infection control and OHS.

Tracy has worked with some of the leading cosmetic plastic surgeons, physicians and dermatologists within this time and has treated countless clients aged from 4 through to 94. She has had 15 years experience at one of Australia’s largest cosmetic practices.

Tracy is dedicated to providing her clients, both male and female, with a planned, personalized approach to assist them in looking, feeling and being confident with themselves and their appearance. Facial restoration by revolumising to achieve the contours of a youthful face is one of her passions. Her goal is to work with the client to rejuvenate the face and body to a relaxed, refreshed and above all else, achieve a “natural” look.

Tracy has been awarded advanced injector status in both dermal fillers and muscle relaxants by the leading suppliers of these products in Australia. She is also a qualified laser safety officer and is highly skilled in the use of laser technology for rejuvenation, pigmentation, red vein treatment and hair reduction having over 13 years experience in this field.

Kerie Jackson
Registered Nurse | Cosmetic Injector | Practice Manager Cairns

Kerie is the eldest of the four sisters working at Face Today Medi-Clinic Cairns. She has been a Registered General Nurse for 32 years and a qualified Beauty Therapist for 30 years.
"I enjoy performing all the injectable treatments available at Face Today Medi-Clinic (I am known as a perfectionist!), but my favourite treatment is PDT (photodynamic Therapy) with our Qantum IPL, used to treat Solar keratoses, Acne and generally oily skin, Rosacea, Seborrheic Keratoses, Sebaceous Gland Hyperplasia, and fine lines, along with other conditions of the skin. It is so satisfying to assist people in making their skin healthier, more even toned and youthful.

Kerie’s passion is balancing body and mind by the combined use of good nutrition, antioxidants, herbal supplements, meditation and also the application of medical grade skin products and treatments. Positive thinking, and a healthy self esteem can be enhanced by cosmetic injectables and skin treatments.

Genetics, environmental toxins, stress and diet do much to determine how we as individuals, age. We need to apply a holistic approach to treat and slow down the effects of our own ageing process. “It brings me joy when I can help a client look and feel better, both with their health, self esteem and with their physical appearance. Kim Jackson
Paramedical Aesthetician

Kim is the third sister in the family of four girls working at Face Today Medi-Clinic Cairns.
She is a qualified Paramedical Aesthetician, Hairdresser and a Makeup Artist. Early in her career, Kim worked in television utilising all these skills - her continuing passion is all things skin!

Her skills include performing treatments such as Medical Microdermabrasion, Medical Peels, Skin Analysis, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment for pigmentation, broken capillaries, rosacea and hair reduction.
Kim has extensive knowledge on medical grade skin products, dermal fillers and muscle relaxants and consults for all injectable treatments, Plasma Portrait skin Regeneration and IPL.

Such is Kim’s passion for working at Face Today Medi-Clinic with her sisters, that she travels 160 km per day to get to and from work. She also has four school aged children.
Kim enjoys a close, confidential relationship with her clients and uses healing energy to enhance the calm atmosphere of her treatment room. Kim says “my treatments are more than skin deep; they are an experience… to nurture skin, body and psyche.” Her aim is for each of her clients to look and feel better after each treatment; to recapture the true essence of themselves and to enjoy a more youthful glowing skin. All this whilst savouring their little bit of much deserved “me” time.

Zoya Wong
Registered Nurse | Cosmetic Injector

Zoya Wong is the latest addition to the ever growing Face Today Medi-Clinic, we are honoured to have Zoya as part of our team. Zoya began her love of beauty after high school and was one of few trainees working in the International School of Monita Beauty.

In 1998 she completed her Bachelor of Nursing degree at Sydney University and at the same time, she completed a Certificate in Marketing with distinction.

Zoya worked in Cardiothoracic surgery at Westmead Hospital for several years and decided to utilise her knowledge of medical & marketing skills to join the Pharmaceutical industry where she gained many achievements.

In 2008 following a career break to bring up 2 boys she decided to join a Sydney leading Cosmetic Clinic and has had extensive training with a leading cosmetic company and highly qualified practitioner. She is skilled in laser treatments, skin treatments and injectables. She is highly motivated and has an eye for perfection. Zoya offers her patients the best outcome possible to enhance the already natural beauty.

Zoya is fluent in English, Mandarin and Chinese and is available Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

Kathryn Barley
Registered Nurse | Cosmetic Injector

Kathryn is a Registered Nurse with over 25 years experience with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Management. Kathryn has had vast experience in many aspects of nursing over the years, including ten years at a small country hospital, duties including everything from suturing wounds to delivering babies (often on the same shift)

She has also been interested in keeping up with the changing trends in nursing and maintaining current skills and evidence based practices. Consequently the opportunity to train as a nurse injector and work at Face Today in Cairns in the anti-aging field was an exciting prospect.

Kathryn states “I have always tried to maintain a holistic approach when nursing and was attracted to the philosophy of Face Today, by addressing not only the client’s concern about their face, but also educating them on cause and prevention, and walking with them on their journey to an overall improvement in their appearance and wellbeing.”

Denise Scaini
Registered Nurse | Cosmetic Injector

Denise commenced her training as an enrolled nurse at the Cairns Base Hospital in 1980 after working ICU, the emergency Department and midwifery. She also worked in General Practice as Practice Manager/Nurse and also for a Cairns Nursing Agency, working in nursing homes and various areas at Cairns Private Hospital.

In 2007 Denise started working at Face Today Medi Clinic and has been wowing clients since with her injecting techniques and advising on treatments.

“I became very interested in Cosmetic Injectables after Nicole had done a small amount of dermal filler for me a few years ago at Face Today Medi clinic. Nicole’s sister Kerie, who has been my best friend for over 30 years, asked me if I would be interested joining her and the rest of the team as a cosmetic injector. I love working here with the girls. The patients are so grateful for the improvement to their self esteem, and letting us help them feel good about themselves.

Wendy Dorrington

Wendy Dorrington (nee Strickland) is a Registered Clinical Nurse Consultant and Midwife with over thirty five years experience in the Nursing Industry, having worked in various hospitals in Queensland and Tasmania.  After recently traveling to Sydney’s Northern Suburbs, she loved the area so much she decided to stay and join the beautiful girls at Face Today in Chatswood.

Wendy has worked in one of Australia’s largest Cosmetic Spas for the last 11 years with some of the leading Cosmetic Surgeons and Physicians.  Her specialised knowledge of the latest range of skin treatments available and her skill with Injectable Shaping and Beauty has made her a leader in the Cosmetic Medical industry.  At the request of many Clinics and Companies, Wendy has traveled around Australia and overseas, teaching and demonstrating her skills and knowledge.

Wendy has a passion to take her clients on a joyous journey with an aim to look and feel great with subtle treatments and skin care advice.  Her expert and confidential personalised plan can dramatically turn back the clock and help men and women face their daily lives with confidence and renewed motivation.  

Wendy says that she loves to see the transformation as clients understand that elegance  is being yourself and loving the way you look and feel so that heads turn as you pass.  In our lives there is not enough importance placed on taking time and attention to focus on us giving to ourselves, as this in turn inspires us to focus on giving to others.
